Using heat mats with domes, how high can the temperature get inside the dome? If the mat temp is 85 degrees, the air temp in the dome seems to rise dangerously high. Thanks for your response.

True. It helps to have the room temperature of the garden in the low 70's. If not, lower the mat temperature to 80 degrees. The foliage should stay cooler than the root zone so the roots grow and the foliage doesn't decay. If you ever visit a florist, the cut flowers are kept in a refrigerator to keep them fresh. The hotter the foliage get, the faster it decays. Thanks for the question, keep 'em coming!
